A collection of 10 Hermès handbags, Cartier and Tiffany & Co. jewellery, designer silk scarves and luxury writing instruments is heading to auction at Hansons London on Friday 30th October.
Consigned by a private Mayfair client, the collection brings together sought-after names from the worlds of fashion, jewellery and luxury accessories. It highlights Hansons London’s expertise in handling prestigious designer pieces, whether offered individually or as part of a wider single-owner collection.

Among the standout lots is a black Porosus crocodile Hermès Birkin 35 dating to 2009, estimated at £8,000-£12,000. Crafted from saltwater crocodile skin, it features palladium-plated hardware, twin top handles and the iconic turn-lock fastening, complete with a hanging clochette, padlock and keys. The bag comes with its Hermès dust bag.
Also attracting attention is a green ostrich leather Hermès Birkin 35 from 2005, estimated at £6,000-£9,000. This striking example features palladium-plated hardware, twin top handles and a matching clochette, padlock and keys, and is accompanied by its Hermès dust bag.
A black Varanus Niloticus lizard leather Hermès Mini Kelly Sellier 20 dating to 1995 is estimated at £5,000-£7,000. Its compact design features gold-plated hardware, a single top handle and a detachable shoulder strap.
Beyond the handbags, the collection includes Hermès and Gucci silk scarves, jewellery by Cartier and Tiffany & Co., and Montblanc and other designer pens.
Watch collectors will find an 18ct gold Chaumet ‘Dandy’ gentleman’s wristwatch, estimated at £1,500-£2,500. The mechanical watch has a black dial with gold baton indices, a subsidiary seconds dial and a 37mm cushion-shaped gold case. It is fitted with a black crocodile-effect leather strap and an 18ct gold Chaumet buckle, and is described as being in working order.

Hermès collectors may also be interested in a ‘Collier de Chien’ cuff bracelet, estimated at £120–£180. Fashioned from green-stained alligator skin, it features palladium-plated Medor studs and a ring detail, and is signed Hermès, Paris.
Adding vintage fashion appeal is a Chanel Maison Gripoix faux baroque pearl and pink pâte de verre flower necklace and bracelet set from the Spring/Summer 1996 collection. Featuring chunky faux pearls and pink and purple poured-glass flower details, the signed set is estimated at £300-£500.

Chris Kirkham, luxury accessories specialist at Hansons, said: “Luxury sales are about understanding the individual pieces, the people who own them and the collectors who may be looking for them. We’re delighted to be handling this collection from a private Mayfair client, which brings together some exceptional Hermès handbags alongside other high-end designer accessories and collectables.
“Working with a single-owner collection allows us to take a broader view, looking at each item individually while considering how the group as a whole can be presented to buyers. Our aim is to give every piece the attention it deserves and connect it with the right audience.”
The collection will feature in Hansons London’s October Silver, Jewellery, Watches & Collectables Auction on Friday 30th October 2026.
