The Harrogate team is supported by leading specialists including Adam Schoon, a familiar face to viewers of the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. Adam has worked as an antiques and fine art valuer for more than 40 years and has particular expertise in Chinese, Japanese and Asian ceramics and works of art, alongside an extensive knowledge of fine art and antiques. Our Harrogate Saleroom hosts FREE weekly walk-in valuation days every Thursday from 10am–2pm, with no appointment necessary. Simply bring your items along to meet our team, receive professional advice and, if you wish, consign suitable pieces for an upcoming Hansons auction.

We also offer FREE home visits throughout Harrogate and the surrounding North Yorkshire area for larger items and collections, together with specialist probate and insurance valuations and appointments by arrangement.
