Hammer prices excelled in the Hansons London March Fine Art, Antiques & Collectors Auction. Jewellery, gold and silver is in particularly strong demand. General antiques and collectables, including furniture, also did well.
Chris Kirkham, associate director at Hansons London, said: “It was a wonderful sale with various highlights, such as a Fornasetti sideboard that Hansons collected from a London house. Also, a Mask of St Agnes ceramics piece demonstrated that rare Doulton still commands huge interest. If you have anything you wish to consign to auction, do get in touch.”
Entries are invited for Hansons London’s monthly sales. If you have items to sell, please get in touch with our London team to arrange a free valuation or home visit to assess collections. Click here for details of the services offered by Hansons London.
