This online-only sale – which starts on Friday, August 3, 2018 – will provide a fantastic opportunity to buy a rich array of historical treasures courtesy of a sale operating through website www.the-saleroom.com. Here, we explain more:

What is a timed auction?

It is an online-only auction which runs for a specified time, similar to eBay. The highest bidder at the close of the auction wins the item.

How do I bid?

You need to register your details with www.the-saleroom.com which will be hosting Hansons’ timed auction. You are then free to bid on lots in Hansons’ Antiquities, Ancient Art and Classical Coins Auction.

When will the timed auction start and finish?

It will start on Friday, August 3, 2018 and run for two weeks until 12 noon on Friday, August 17, 2018.

Can I find out more about items I want to bid on?

You will be able to order condition reports on any items through www.the-saleroom.com just like in a normal auction.

Where do I go to browse the catalogue?

The catalogue will be available on website www.the-saleroom.com.

How will I receive my item?
