Hansons Auctioneers are proud to announce a very special Spode ceramics sale.
This single-owner collection was very carefully and skilfully assembled over decades. The collection is predominantly of Spode blue-printed earthenware, but also includes porcelain, creamware and Stone China examples.
The jewel in the crown is a near complete Caramanian dinner service including many rare shapes such as tureens, jugs, asparagus server and knife rests, but also a similarly complete Indian Sporting dinner service.
The sale is on September 30. Viewing is by appointment only.
