If you want to turn heads, Frankie Stein could be yours –
and you could help a good cause to boot.
This Megablocks figure in the form of Frankie Stein,
complete with handbag will go under the hammer at Hansons on July 21 with an
estimate of £100-£200 – and every penny raised will go towards playground
renovations at Arkholme Primary School, Lancashire.
Some £20,000 is needed to replace crumbling safety flooring
underneath play equipment. Fundraisers have managed to gather £12,000 thanks to
various events but the school is still £8,000 short of its target.
Frankie was donated directly to aid the school’s cause by
Mattel’s head office and is 173cm tall. It was made in around 2015 for its showroom.
Frankie Stein, lot 3355, is due to be sold on July 21 in
Hansons Antiques and Collectors Auction.
