Eric Knowles and Charles Hanson team up for FREE valuation event in Staffordshire

the world of antiques with TV experts Eric Knowles and Charles Hanson at a free
valuation event in Staffordshire.

The popular
pair will be at Bishton Hall, Wolseley Bridge, on Tuesday September 22, 10am-2pm,
to assess all types of antiques and quirky collectables. And, if you like the guide
price, you could turn your unwanted items into cash.

Bargain
Hunt regular Charles Hanson, owner of Hansons Auctioneers and Bishton Hall, his
Staffordshire saleroom, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for people to
have their antiques valued, learn more about treasured objects and explore
Bishton, a wonderful period property dating back to 1750. Perhaps Eric and I
can help unleash an auction windfall.”

Valuations
are free, no appointment is necessary and items can be consigned to auction. Antique
fans can make the day extra special by enjoying a VIP Talk and Tour of Bishton
Hall, starting at 9.15am. It will include refreshments and an opportunity to
hear a talk by the renowned experts. To book a place, priced £10, contact

Eric Knowles, a specialist
in ceramics and glass, has appeared on TV’s Antiques Roadshow. A Fellow of the
Royal Society of Arts, he is a published author on subjects such as Victoriana,
Royal memorabilia, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and René Lalique.

Charles
said: “It’s a privilege to have Eric with us at Bishton and I hope people will
make the most of this opportunity to meet him and have objects assessed.”

Ample grounds and airy
rooms at the atmospheric Georgian mansion allow Hansons to host the event safely
respecting all Covid-19 regulations.
