Charles Hanson is set to be guest speaker and auctioneer at a golf day in Derbyshire to aid charity The Tiny Tim Trust.
And you can join the fun at the September 3, 2021 event at Duffield’s Chevin Golf Club. Places are available to enjoy an evening meal, starting at 7.30pm, which will feature a talk and charity auction led by Charles.
All funds raised will aid The Tiny Tim Trust which provides equipment and resources for children with special needs in Derbyshire. Charles, Derbyshire born-and-bred and a familiar face from TV’s Antiques Road Trip, is one of the charity’s patrons.
He said: “I hope people will rally round to support this event and join me for a wonderful evening of fine food, antique anecdotes and the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of a charity auction to aid a good cause.”
Lots set to go going under the hammer include a four-ball voucher for Hollinwell Golf Club; hand-made glassware by Kevin Litchfield and a week’s holiday at North Norfolk Cottage in East Rudham.
The dinner, which includes a choice of two courses and tea or coffee, costs £25 per person. There are also a few golf tee times remaining.
