TV personality and antiques expert Charles Hanson is coming to the Derbyshire village 0f Youlgreave to host an event to aid its church.
Charles, a familiar face on TV’s Antiques Road Trip and Bargain Hunt, will be at All Saints Parish Church, 26 Church Street, on Thursday July 11, from 12 noon to 2pm, to value quirky collectables, antiques and jewellery. The fun comes for free but donations will be gratefully received for church funds.
Charles said: “Home is where the heart is, I’m a Derbyshire man and I’m really looking forward to coming to Youlgreave, one of my favourite villages.
“Look under the bed, delve into the attic, dig into those drawers and see what you can find. I can value anything and everything. And if you want to see your object fly at auction, we have numerous antique, jewellery, silver, fine art and specialist sales to cater for your particular item.
“Whether it’s an old Derby County football programme, wonderful old brooch, Chinese vase or set of vintage postcards, bring them along.”
Charles Hanson will be All Saints Parish Church, 26 Church Street, Youlgreave, DE45 1WL, on Thursday July 11, from 12 noon to 2pm.
