Its owner wisely invested her money in timeless
vintage, high-quality jewellery that would not look out of place adorning a
celebrity on the red carpet in Hollywood.
All the pieces are exceptional but Hansons’ head
of jewellery Helen Smith is particularly entranced by an eye-catching Belle
Epoque-style sapphire, diamond and platinum pendant.
The pendant displays sweeping swags and swirls set
with small diamonds and tulip-shaped drops. But the star of the show is a 5.13
carat cushion-cut sapphire.
