Toys are in hot demand at auction and a dolls and teddies expert can tell you what your prized item is worth at a free valuation event in Knutsford, Cheshire.
Janet Rawnsley, a life-long doll devotee, will be at St John’s Knutsford Church Centre, Church Hill, on Friday, March 11 from 11am-1pm. She can assess all types of antique and vintage dolls and teddies and, if you like the guide price, they can be entered into a specialist toy sale at Hansons Auctioneers.

Charles Hanson, owner of Hansons, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to find out if your treasured doll or teddy bear could be an auction star. Janet has decades of knowledge and experience in her chosen field and will be happy to advise.
“Her love of toys emerged in childhood and she’s built up a collector’s passion for her subject, so much so she has written books to share her vast knowledge.

“Toys are hugely popular with collectors all over the world, so much so Hansons has expanded its specialist toy sales. If you are thinking of selling it’s a good time to consign to auction.
