A host of churches are set to reap the benefits of joining forces with TV personality Charles Hanson.
The antiques expert, auctioneer and regular on television shows such as Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip is set to do a host of free antiques valuation events to raise money for churches in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
He said: “I’m really keen to support good causes and thought it would be wonderful to organise events to benefit our many churches.
“I’ll be offering free valuations of antiques and collectables but will be inviting donations for church funds. Nearly everyone has an object at home they think might be worth something and I’m more than happy to assess ceramics, paintings, ornaments, jewellery, watches – anything at all in fact.”
