Ceramics excel with Aynsley collection hammering at £700 – nine times its estimate

Ceramics are consistently excelling under the hammer surpassing estimates and sparking strong bidding.

Tableware collections big and large, some with modest estimates under £80, are selling for hundreds of pounds – much to the delight of clients.

Here ceramics expert Robert Churchill reveals highlights from the monthly ceramics sale, part of August’s four-day Derbyshire Antique and Collectors Auction.
