Pokémon Day Auction: Celebrating 30 Years of Pokémon

Hansons Auctioneers is proud to present a dedicated Pokémon Auction on 27th February 2026, celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of the world’s most beloved and influential franchises.

This special one-day event will bring together collectors, fans and enthusiasts for an auction featuring a wide array of Pokémon memorabilia. From nostalgic favourites to rare investment pieces, the sale will honour the franchise’s legacy and cultural impact since its original Game Boy release in 1996.

The auction will be led by David Wilson-Turner, Head of Toys at Hansons Auctioneers, a highly experienced specialist who has overseen memorabilia from globally renowned franchises such as Star Wars, as well as iconic toy lines including Action Man.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan, a serious collector, or just discovering the magic of Pokémon, this is your chance to catch something truly special.
