A host of impressive lots have been consigned into a fundraising auction to aid the Tiny Tim Trust, a Derbyshire charity which helps special needs children and young adults.
And you can start placing advance bids ahead of the live auction, which will be hosted by Charles Hanson, a patron of the trust.
He said: “You can send in a commission bid now to get theball rolling ahead of the event. There are some wonderful lots to buy – especially if you love golf. That said, there is something for everyone, from a holiday to fine glassware. Let’s get bidding to back a good cause.”
The auction will be held as part of the charity’s 2021 Charity Golf Day, which will take place at Chevin Golf Club in Duffield, Derbyshire, on Friday, September 3.
Among lots coming up for auction are:
- One week self-catering holiday at North Norfolk Cottage in East Rudham: value £750. The cottage sleeps six. (Easter and Summer School holidays excluded).
- Hollinwell Golf Club four-ball golf voucher: value £400.
- Kedleston Park Golf Club four-ball golf voucher: value £300.
- Northern Tea Merchants luxury hamper: value £75. Selection of specialist teas from Kenya, India, Sri Lanka and Rwanda.
- Six Supercar Driving Blast – buckle up in six iconic supercars for a mind-blowing driving experience. Fall head over wheels with a fleet of supreme supercars choosing from the likes of Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche with a choice of 67 UK wide locations. Value £400+.
- Sunday Morning Breakfast for up to six people at the home of Jane and Peter Burgess with Bucks Fizz on arrival followed by a hearty English breakfast. All bacon, eggs, black pudding, sausages and kindly provided by Anthony Andrews Butchers of Duffield

Tiny Tim Trust launched in 1994 and is run by qualified volunteers. It provides equipment to enhance lives and spends £15,000 a year supporting around 40 children/young adults. It aims to bridge the gap between what statutory services provide and what is realistically available.
