Trio of TV antiques experts can value treasures for FREE in London

 |  By andy

Three well-known faces from TV antiques shows are heading to London to offer free valuations – and could reveal if you’re sitting on a fortune.

Oriental art expert Lars Tharp, Adam Schoon, who also specialises in Oriental art as well as general antiques, and jewellery and silver expert Kate Bliss will be available to value treasures for free on behalf of Hansons London.

Kate appears on TV’s Bargain Hunt and Flog It! while Lars and Adam have appeared as experts on the Antiques Roadshow.

Charles Hanson, owner of Hansons London, said: “These are top experts in their field and I hope people will dig out their treasures to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities.

“We have had some incredible finds in London including an ancient Chinese Imperial Yongzheng plate which sold for £100,000 in our September auction. The owner had no idea of its value. His father paid around £3 for it in 1955.”

Lars will be a guest consultant at Hansons’ valuation office, 77 Bridge Road, East Molesey, KT8 9HH, on September 19, 11am-4pm. Kate will be at the same venue on September 17, 3-5pm, and Adam will be there on October 10, 3-5pm.

Adam will be at Hansons’ new office at 28 Jameson Street, Notting Hill, W8 7SH, on October 9 and November 13, 10am-4pm. Kate will be at the same venue on September 18, October 16 and November 20, 9.30am-2pm. Valuations will be available until 4pm on Kate’s dates.

Kate will also be at Hansons’ Saleroom, the Normansfield Theatre, Langdon Down Centre, 2A Langdon Park, Teddington, TW11, on September 17, October 15 and November 19, 11am-2pm. Adam will be at the same venue on October 10 and November 14, 10am-2pm.

Entries for Hansons London October 27 auction are invited until October 6. To find out more, visit www.hansonslondon.co.uk or email [email protected]
