Sign up for Hansonslive! Our new online bidding platform can save you money

 |  By andy

Hansons Auctioneers has launched its own new online bidding system – Hansonslive – to allow people to bid from anywhere in the world and save money.

Using a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, you can follow Hansons’ auctions uniquely from start to finish as they happen, save favourite items to a ‘watch list’ and bid live with ease.

But, best of all, the cost to buyers who use the platform will be significantly cheaper than those who bid via external online bidding portals such as the-saleroom.com

Charles Hanson, owner of Hansons Auctioneers, said: “We’re delighted to launch our own new unique platform, tailor made for our clients and cheaper than others.

Hansonslive will only charge you a low 3% plus VAT bidding fee, where the same fee for our sales on the-saleroom.com is 7% plus VAT.

Quick and easy to sign up

Hansonslive has launched in time for our August 12 London auction and it takes just a few minutes to sign up to use the service.

Rik Alexander, Hansons’ executive operations officer, said: “The software utilises the latest technical advances to make the buying process as easy as possible for everyone. People can bid at the touch of a button, wherever they are from whichever device they have to hand.”

“The technology will bring all auctions direct to your mobile device, desktop or laptop, allowing you to bid on items from anywhere in the world as if you were at the auction itself.

“It takes just a few minutes to register a Hansonslive account online and, once verified by the administration team, you can login to watch Hansons’ auctioneers in action.

“Ahead of the sales you can view the catalogue online, add items to your own personal ‘watch list’ and place advance bids. On auction days, you can watch the sale via a live webcast and place bids in real time.

“And if you’re bidding from abroad, or from anywhere in the UK, Hansons’ postage and packing team will be pleased to hear from you.”
