Curated Ceramics

At Hansons, ceramics is our passion. We sell an eclectic array of objects in our Curated Ceramics Auctions. These exquisite finds also impress in our Antiques and Collectors and Fine Art Auctions. Plus, this wealth of beautiful objects attract a devoted worldwide client-base of buyers.

Centuries Of Ceramics

Ceramics take us on a journey through history – and around the world. We see fine examples of ancient Chinese porcelain and Celtic pottery to blue and white transferware and fine English china. Spanning multiple markets and departments, including Asian arts, historica and decorative arts, ceramics are hugely diverse.

From sophisticated 18th Century Chelsea, Worcester, Derby and Pinxton, to dazzling 19th Century pieces by esteemed factories such as Meissen, Minton, Royal Worcester, Coalport, Wedgwood and Royal Doulton – our experts are true connoisseurs.

Amazing Finds Excel

Over the years, the ceramics department at Hansons has gone from strength to strength. Our specialist auctions showcase amazing finds – and often make the national press. For example, six rare 18th Century Chelsea ‘Hans Sloane’ plates, Lowestoft and Whieldon pieces, made more than £72,000.

Our ceramics department and specialist auctions are the perfect place to sell – and buy – beautiful items to suit any collection.
