Even if you cut up your Beatles autographs they’re still worth a small fortune!
It may look a little haphazard but these John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr autographs are genuine and could achieve close to £1,000 at auction.
They have been cut out from one autograph book and taped on to other pages. Nevertheless, Hansons’ music consultant Claire Howell, who can spot a fake Beatles autograph at 10 paces, has confirmed they are real.
The client told us: “These are my Beatles autographs which I obtained when I met them on October 15, 1963 when they played a concert in the Caird Hall, Dundee. I won a competition to meet them.”
The autographs, lot 38, estimate £600-£800, will be offered in Hansons’ September 15 Music and Film Auction.
