Charles Hanson raised £3,300 for the British Heart Foundation thanks to a charity event – much to the delight of organisers.
Charles, owner of Hansons Auctioneers and a familiar face on TV antiques shows, packs charity talks, after-dinner events and auctions into his busy schedule.
He said: “I was invited to give a talk in aid of the BHF and I’m pleased to say it was a great success. I do my best to support charities in any way I can. I am often invited to give talks. Over the years, I have also hosted numerous important charity auctions, including an event attended by the late Queen Elizabeth in 2022. I was lucky enough to be introduced to her – one of my proudest moments.
“The British Heart Foundation is an important cause. I hope to put my fitness to the test by running the London Marathon on their behalf in 2024.”
