The auction offers an impressive mix of British, Continental and Asian ceramics spanning five centuries of production. Here, Richard shares five of his top lots:
A superb pair of 18th century tin-glazed earthenware blue and white delft dedicated plates, c. 1765-70. Both are decorated with floral vignettes to the border and HP DONKER, IIV D MARKT to the centres. 23 cm wide.
A pair of mid to late 18th century tin-glazed Liverpool delftware blue and white hand-painted cornucopia wall pockets, c. 1760. Each has moulded floral details and painted flowers. 20 cm tall.
A late 19th century Yorkshire slipware dedicated top hat and rocking chair, c. 1886-88. They are dedicated to James Baron and Elizabeth Baron. 13 – 20 cm tall.
A late 19th century hand-painted porcelain Royal Crown Derby serving dish, c. 1897. It is painted with three different costal shipping scenes in blue. The three-section dish is united by a central handle. Marked to the underside. 36 cm wide.
A superb late 20th century hand-painted Royal Worcester fruit pattern ginger jar and cover, c. 1990-5. It is beautifully painted with fruit and is signed S. Weston. Marked to the underside. 18 cm tall.
