Derby Museums are delighted to be holding their very first virtual auction on 11 February 2021 – hosted by TV personality Charles Hanson.
All funds raised will go towards their Endowment Fund. This provides financial stability to ensure future generations reap the benefit of the museums’ collections and the huge range of activities and events they inspire. It’s the museum’s way of looking out for the generations to come.
A spokesperson for Derby Museums said: “This fundraising is more important than ever during the current pandemic. We are delighted to have been offered a match funding Endowment Grant by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which means that every pound people give to Derby Museums’ Endowment campaign before September 2022 will be doubled. This will help to secure the future of Derby Museums for everyone.”
