Dr Richard Halliday, Head of Curated Ceramics at Hansons’ Oxfordshire saleroom in Banbury, has published an exciting ceramics catalogue ahead of the July 1 Curated Ceramics Auction.
Richard returns to Hansons’ ranks following a six-month research and publication sabbatical and is proud to offer a broad range of ceramics across three centuries of production.
“He said: “There are ceramics for everyone within this catalogue with examples of Chinese export, fine English porcelains, transfer-printed wares and more.
“A large and important Spode collection assembled mainly in the 1950s and 1960s will be offered alongside private Derby and Royal Crown Derby collections. Estimates range from £20 to over £1,000, so there is a great mix for all budgets and tastes.”
