4 dazzling gems in Spring Fine Jewellery sale – chosen by Hansons’ expert Mel Lee-Patrick

A dazzling display of diamonds will adorn one of the finest stately homes in Staffordshire with a sale of fine jewellery and silver.

Hansons Auctioneers at Bishton Hall, Wolseley Bridge, will host its first Fine Jewellery, Silver and Watches sale on March 3, 2023.

On offer will be a rare 1940s Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso watch, Rolex watches, fine antique and modern jewellery, stunning silver and other luxury items.

The sale presents a first-class opportunity for those wishing to dispose of top notch pieces for the best prices.

A John Hardy handmade designer torc, with hinged element to allow access, set with three large blue Topaz stones, one round fancy cut, the other two octagonal scissor cut, each surrounded by melee diamonds. With gold accents to the decorative beading Gross weight approximately 51.4 grams. Stamped 925 and 18k, with JH makers mark | Estimate £200-£300

An Edwardian diamond and sapphire target ring. Featuring a central old cushion cut central diamond, measuring approximately 7.2mm x 6.4mm x 4.3mm. Set in yellow metal, stamped “18ct”. Size O. Gross weight approximately 5.5 grams | Estimate £800-£1,000

A mid-20th century French made organic branch form yellow metal brooch, studded with diamonds. Gross weight of approximately 20.3 grams. The central diamond weight is estimated as 0.5 carats, with approximately a further half carat of diamonds sprinkled across the “branches” of the piece. Marked “Depose SSM” to the double pin. The double pin is in as found condition as one of the two clasps is missing | Estimate £1,500-£2,000

A 1940s Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso wristwatch in Acier Staybrite, with a Premo Claspit bracelet. With silvered dial and Arabic Numerals, with central second dial. Case is engraved with the initals PH. Vendor advises the watch is in working order, however it is untested | Estimate £2,000-£3,000
