Use our drop-off service to consign items for sale
Hansons' salerooms are currently closed to the public due to Covid regulations but we are open for consignments and offer a drop-off service to make it as easy as possible for you to sell with us. Please note: Our salerooms will e closed for Christmas from 5pm on December 23 to 8.30am on January 4.
Our sales are operating as normal thanks to our online bidding platforms. If you have any items you wish to sell, simply follow these easy steps:
- Step 1: Make an appointment to drop off any items you wish to have valued ahead of potential consignment by emailing [email protected] or calling 01283 733988
- Step 2: Bring your items to our saleroom at the appointed time and leave them with us - we will provide you with a receipt
- Step 3: Our experts will carefully assess your antiques and collectables
- Step 4: Hansons will contact you to advise on guide prices and suitability for auction.
- Step 5: If you are happy with our estimates, your objects will be consigned into the next suitable auction
We are working hard cataloguing items for our New Year general collectors and fine arts sales in January and February across our four salerooms in Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Oxfordshire and London.
Despite the unexpected difficulties of 2020, Hansons has enjoyed record-breaking sales in a booming auction market. It really is a great time to sell.
To make things easier for buyers, we’re taking more photos than usual, offering full condition reports on all lots, additional images when requested, and have one of the best in-house postal departments in the auction business. Consequently, we are seeing betting results now than compared to a year ago.
We look forward to being of assistance - please don't hesitate to get in touch.
