We aim to deliver the best possible auction experience for both buyers and sellers remotely to ensure safety for all concerned.


Our salerooms are closed to the public to protect the safety of both clients and staff and to adhere to Government guidelines. Strictly no viewing at our auction centres. If you wish to find out more about a lot, please request a condition reports, more images or video. See 'Condition Reports' section below.


In light of the current pandemic, auctions will be ONLINE-ONLY.

As auction viewing days cannot be held, we will be assisting bidders by providing enhanced condition reports. Videos, extra photographs, thorough reports and telephone discussions regarding any items may be requested.

Due to the lockdown restrictions, the collection of items purchased at auction is not allowed but we will store items free of charge until restrictions are lifted. When restrictions are eased, we will operate a strict policy of appointment-only collections. All health and safety protocol will be adhered to and your items will be made available for pick-up from an external store to avoid person-to-person contact.

Furniture Collections
If you have purchased furniture, please ensure you advise Mr Hanson if you have a family member to assist you loading at both Etwall and Bishton

***We are able to move items to Etwall for collection if preferred for a fee of £5+VAT***

To enhance our online-only auction services, we plan to offer P&P prices with lot entries. In addition, invoices sent out to buyers will include a P&P price option.

PLEASE NOTE: All smaller lots sold in our May auctions will have pre-quoted postage costs.

  • Contactless drop-offs and open-air valuations under a gazebo.
  • Valuers and clients will be supplied with protective equipment.
  • Restricted numbers in the saleroom
  • All surfaces cleaned at regular intervals
  • Safe distances between valuers and consignees.
