Diamonds are definitely a girl’s best friend with demand for jewellery sparking strong prices at Hansons London June sale.
Rings, bracelets, pendants and chains dominated the auction’s top 10 sales list thanks to rising prices for gold and diamonds.
Chris Kirkham, Hansons London associate director, said: “Demand for good quality jewellery is strong at the moment and this is leading to impressive hammer prices.
“We enjoyed a good June sale and what was most pleasing is that we sold virtually every lot. This success is made possible thanks to the live broadcast of Hansons London auctions worldwide which give people in every corner of the globe the ability to buy and bid with ease.”
