One of TV’s most popular antiques experts is heading to Prested Hall in Essex to do free valuations – and he’d love to help you uncover a windfall.
Charles Hanson, a familiar face on Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Antiques Road Trip and owner of Hansons Auctioneers and Hansons London, will be at the luxury venue in the village of Feering on June 20, from 11am-4pm.
He said: “Antiques and history is my passion and I hope the people of Essex will come out in force to bring me forgotten treasures from their attics, cupboards and drawers.”
“If you’ve ever wondered if that ancient vase, pretty brooch, old painting or quirky object gathering dust is worth a fortune you can find out for free.
“Easily portable antiques, jewellery, silver, watches, gold, ceramics, paintings coins, collectables and antiquarian books can be assessed – anything in fact.
“It’s time for the people of Essex to find out if they are sitting on a windfall. We've lost count of the number of times we have uncovered items that turn out to be worth thousands of pounds. Recently we discovered two hugely valuable Fabergé flowers which could together sell for up to £500,000 at Hansons London in June.”
The free valuation event will be held at Prested Hall, Prested Hall Chase, Feering, Essex, CO5 9EE, on June 20, from 11am-4pm, with more dates to follow on September 4 and November 9.
Items can also be valued at Hansons London Valuation and Consignment Office, 77 Bridge Road, Hampton Court Village, KT8 9HH, on Wednesdays, 11am-3pm, and Fridays, 10am-4pm. To find out more, call 020 8979 7954, email [email protected] or visit www.hansonslondon.co.uk.
