As the Hoodwinked robins prepare for their final flight, collectors are queuing up to bid for their favourite sculptures.
The 33 robin sculptures which have brightened the streets of Nottingham all summer are now being spruced up ready for their last public appearance before going under the hammer.
They will be joined by two new – never seen before – robins at our illuminated Farewell to the Flock event at Fernleigh House and Gardens from 12-14 October, then will be sold at the Hoodwinked Grand Auction on Thursday 18 October.
The trail has been hailed a huge success with more than 97,000 sculpture unlocks from the the Hoodwinked app and many more visiting the trail over the summer. People can carry on unlocking sculptures at the Farewell event so it looks likely that total unlocks will top 100,000.
